The Fairborn Juneteenth Celebration is a vibrant community event that honors the legacy of Juneteenth. We bring people together to celebrate freedom, unity, and African American culture through music, food, and activities. As an inclusive and spirited gathering, we strive to uplift and educate our community while fostering a sense of togetherness and empowerment.
This year's theme is Dreaming. Just as those that were enslaved here dreamed of freedom, the first people who landed on this strange new world dreamed of a better life.
This year, Juneteenth joins the 250th anniversary of America while emphasizing that dreams do come true.

Juneteenth Celebration: Honoring emancipation, promoting unity, educating on African American history, and fostering cultural pride through festivities and reflection of Freedom,, Family, Health, Wealth, and sense of Self.
June 19th 2026
This years Juneteenth Celebration will be held in Fairborn's Central Park at 222 S. Central Ave. From 11-3 p.m.
Participation and Engagement
During the celebration you will be able to see and participate in programs that Support Juneteenth events, amplify community voices, educate oneself on history, challenge systemic racism, and advocate for equality and justice in solidarity for all.
